what is the meaning of regular assessment? is notice issued u/s 143 (1) is described as regular assessment ? what is the diff between s-143(1) & regular assessment?

Regular assessment means scrutiny assessment u/s 143(3)in which the IT Dept. Scrutinises each and every claim made by assessee where as 143 (1) is intimation in which the IT dept accepts the claims made by assessee.
