Please tell me whether there is any change in the calculation of depreciation allowance, admissible to an indian co & a foreign company.

13 December 2009 i beleive, at the time of first IT assement for your capital asset block, whatever the method has been adopted by you, that will not be allowed to change.

13 December 2009 Appendix I to Rule 5(1A) provides the rate of depreciation on difference block of assets.

It allowes written down value method only to provide depreciation.
