What is personal effect? Whether jewellery is included in personal effect? Whether depreciation is charged on jewellery/personal effect? What is the rate?

Depreciation is not charged on Personal Effects and Jewellary. However, for the purpose of capital gains Jewellary is a Capital Asset and not a personal Effect.
