Demand under intimation order u/s 143(1)

We have claimed the Tds in our client's return but as the return processed, there is a demand equal to the amount of TDS as TDS is not reflecting in Form 26AS.
Is there any remedy?
How it can be corrected?
through Rectification Letter?

14 January 2014 You can reply to your concerned AO with copies of TDS certificates as attachments. Reply should be "Rectification under section 154"
