Please Help its urgent, I received notice from ICAI on 2/2/2013 but could not reply then received reminder in april at that time my CA said that he will look up my case later on then I was appeared for exams of ca final in may and later on I joined gmcs classes and after that also he again said he will write condonation letter later on but not now. finally I submitted condonation letter with 1000 rupees penalty in august but when I confirmed through E-shahyeta they said my application is in process but there are 3 allegations on me 1. breach of regulation 65 2. non-compliance of regulation 3. delay in sending response of reminder...I m very scared..please remove my doubt whether they can cancel my registration of ca. I cannt reveal that the delay is all because of my ca

Dear Shweta, Regulation 65 of the ICAI Regulations pertains to non submission of Form 112 for seeking consent to pursue other courses during your articleship.
On 7/5/2013, this was hosted on the ICAI website The Executive Committee of the Council of the Institute, has had an occasion to consider certain instances of breach of the above Regulation 65 / relevant decision of the Council and taking a serious view of the matter, it has decided to impose severe consequences by delaying grant of Membership for substantial period as deemed fit corresponding to quantum of overlapping period between office timings of the Principal and attendance at the classes.
Though the registration cannot be cancelled, the membership may be delayed. I suggest, write a clarification letter to the institute stating all the facts with utmost clarity (u may not state that this is because of your CA) and submit it to the institute so as to clarify your position.
That’s all you can do at the moment. But now, breach under 65 is being viewed seriously by the institute… Don’t worry..just submit the letter and wait for them to respond back

clarification letter regarding what? I have submitted condonation letter prepared by CA and cs registration letter n receipt and Rs.1ooo draft as penalty levied...what should I disclose in this clarification letter? or should I wait for ICAI reply because my application is in process..

Since you said that the institute has levied these allegations, you can clarify the same, saying that you have come to know of this from the esahitya website.... and request them to condone the delay....

no only I received a notice in feb and a reminder in april I submitted my letter on 26 aug so its in process for scrutiny but till now I have received nothing in this regard

I came to know because I posted a query in eshahyeta that I have not received my article completion letter till now then they replied that I found guilty of these so firstly all matters will be cleared then I will get my completion certificate
if this is come to you from the institute, write a letter stating that you have not received the completion letter and the reasons are these allegations.
