Hi,
I have given a donation and wanted to claim deduction u/s 80G. i was expected that the amount I can claim shall be:
LOWER OF:-
a) 50% of Donation (as the donation is to a private trust)
b) 10% of Adjusted gross total income
whereas while filing the ITR 2 i found that the figures are automatically coming which is 50% of (10% of Adjusted GTI).
So i want to confirm which is correct
