24 December 2008 Wheather Deduction u/s 80G is available for income from Winning from lottery & Crossed word Puzzles Sec 115BB
If the Income from the said is below Taxable Limit 150000/- can we claim basic exemption.
From The wordings of Sec 80G it looks like deduction is available.Please clarify

24 December 2008 For calculation of deduction under chapter VI A the Long term capital Gain only be excluded from the total income.
