Dear Sir,
An assesse has taken education loan for his son for higher studies so whether he is eligible to get deduction on the repayment of the principal amount of the loan under any section of the I.T. Act. Please give your valuable reply as early as you can.

HE WILL GET DEDUCTION FOR REPAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL AMOUNT BUT SHALL GET DEDUCTION FOR PAYMENT OF INTEREST UNDER SECTION 80E.
