17 January 2011 Is there any specific rate for deduction of TDS in case of foreign payment.

Plz reply me in detail....?

17 January 2011 First you have to find out whether there is any agreement with the contry to which amount will be remitted

Second find out the rate of TDS if there would not have been any agreement.

You have to deduct TDS at the rate which is more beneficial to the Assessee.
