Deduction for lic on due or payment basis?

My LIC premium due date was Feb-2012 but i paid it in April-12, In which financial year I can claim this deduction u/s 80C??

30 July 2012 You can claim the deduction in AY 13-14 relating to FY 12-13. Deduction is available on payment basis.
