Kindly provide solution to the following situation.
There was a chartered accountant who has done the audit of one company, for which audit report was prepared along with his firm seal, however appointment of statutory auditor has not been done.The Ca has signed the balance sheet and auditor report,
My question is can another CA accept that appointment for annual return purposes.

Yes, any other CA can sign but company has to pass resolution for change of auditor due to death. If another CA sign the report the risk will lie on that CA.
