21 February 2015 We have received PO for tool devp from Foreign Customer, We have developed Tool for Customer against which we shall produce the finish goods and clear for export.

Now we have received payment against above Tool devp cost.

Against this transaction whether excise or service tax is applicable or not aplicable?

23 February 2015 Excise duty will be applicable on manufacturing of tools but no need to pay duty export of goods.
