02 February 2011 Can somebody please let me know what is the Custom duty on Furniture and how is it calculated, If the CIF cost is Rs10000.00

Excise duty cut down by 2%, hence reduced to 8% (As per changes made on Feb 24, 2009)
Extension of the earlier 4 percent cut in excise duty beyond 31 March 2009. (As per changes made on Feb 24, 2009)
