CT-1 supply

18 August 2009 we are the manufacturer and what is procedure of removing exciseable goods under CT-1?

10 September 2009 First you have to obtain CT-1 from the merchant exporter.

You submit the copy of the CT-1 to your Excise Range Office.

Get one set of ARE-1 copies from merchant exporter duly signed by the merchant exporter.

you also sign on the same ARE-1 which is already signed by the merchant exporter.

Give intimation to your excise range for sealing of export goods packages against CT-1.

After then you have to obtain the Copy of Proof of Export(ARE-1 signed by the Customs Officer after shipment, BL/AWB, Shipping Bill Copies, copies of relevent export documents) from the marchant exporter and submit the same to your excise range.

CT-1 Exports treated as Deemed Export.
