Whether Companies act 2013 is applicable for CS Final in June 2014 attempt? or it will remain as companies act 1956? Becoz now I m studying CSP, if new one is applicable then it will be waste of time to learn the provisions of old one. plz suggest.
ICSI has included the Companies Act 2013 in December 2013 exams in broad concepts only under "Historical Development of Concept of Corporate Law in India/Contemporary Developments"
However given that ICSI includes the changes made in the act till December for June exams, the 98 sections made applicable in September should get covered in June 2014. So you need to cover both the old and the new act (98 sections).
