11 December 2012 I started my tally on 1.1.2012.
I incurred traveling expense on 12.12.2011.
And it was paid through credit card.
The payment was shown in bank A/c on 7.1.2012.
My financial year 1.1.2011-31.3.2012
How should I account this?

It should be booked on 12.12.2011 ie. date of transaction.
