A CA student has to get permission from the council for additional course.
The council generally permits the courses which are useful/relevant with the course of CA.
CFA course was not permitted by the council because there was a battle between the two institutions.
Certified Portfolio Management is a unique career for professionals.
If you get expertise in CFM, good job prospects are available at Banking, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Brokerage Houses etc.
Even you can start your own investment from a meagre amount with consultancy to small investors. This will be helpful if you live in a small city and wish to continue your practice there only.
