Cost records compliance report disclosure in directors repor

This query is : Resolved

30 June 2012 Dear all,

I am working with Pvt. Ltd. co. and weare required to file Compliance Certificate under Cost Accounting Record Rules 2011.

I understand that companies covered under Cost Accounting Records Rules 2011 need to submit the Compliance report within 180 days of end of F. Y.

Is it require to mention the details of such Compliance report in the Directors Report? Does such compliance is reflected anywhere in Boards Report.

I could not find any provision in this regard, but just want to make it sure???

Regards,

Gargi

30 June 2012 Dear Gargi,

Directors' Report does not contain any provision/clause as such.
However, the Statutory Audtors are required to report under CARO whether the company has made & maintained prescribed cost records or not.
The Statutory auditor can not comment on the statement unless the company has appointed a cost auditor and also, certificate of compliance with maintenance of cost records is given by the cost auditor

19 September 2012 I Agree with Amit Sir......
