My name is Akash Soni.I passed CPT exams held in June,2008 with 70%.Now I am doing PCC.I have been registered as an articled assistant w.e.f. 30-09-2008. I want to ask you that if I switch over from PCC to IPCC will I be allowed for a nine month break.Whether it depends on my will? Now I want a nine moth break.But if my C.A.does not allow me for it then what should I do? I want to ask you that has the institute made a compulsory rule that if a student wants to shift from PCC to IPCC then his/her C.A. has to allow him for a nine month break. Or it depends on my C.A's discretion. I want to take a break

Congratulations for the good performance. You can get the necessary conversion and the break as desired by you. Please do not worry as the ICAI only needs to be informed. Good Luck.
