CAN WE TRANSFER STOCK IN TRADE LYING IN A COMPANY TO ITS SUBSIDIARY AND THEN convert THE SUBSIDIARY into LLP.

Why not? Go ahead. But why this de tour? You can directly trnasfer to LLP. Form an llp and transfer the stock. (This is always subject m,atter of DOMESTIC transfer pricing.)
