28 May 2008 i wud like to know if deferred tax will be included in the calculation of net worth for the purposes of valuation of shares.

28 May 2008 yes, it is a part of company's net worth. as i said in earlier query it is not a real asset/liablity rather it is a conceptual provision. treat it like shareholders' funds.
