06 May 2012 a law of parliament made with respect to a subject enumerated in the state list on which state has made no law is a valid law ? bcos in state list only state can make laws

a law of parliament on a subject enumerated in the concurrent list on which state law already exists-valid

07 May 2012 Trust me, Parliament will never pass a Bill on a subject falling in the State List. If they do decide to do so, first they will seek Constitution amendment, moving teh subject to Concurrent List. If Parliament does pass any such bill, it will not be valid. By teh way, if Central Act and State Act take contrary positions on a subject in Concurrent List, teh Central Act prevails.
