16 December 2009 in case of consignment who will pay the sale tax liability. Consignee or consignor?

17 December 2009 Consignee is an agent of consignor (principal).

So consignor will pay the sale tax.

Practically; there is no liability on the seller in case of charging sales tax from consumers.

Whatever is collected is paid only to the government treasury.
