If the time limit exceeds, you can inform the same to the commissioner and incorporate the changes in next return

u mean to say u can show that amt is paid (as the case here is service rcvr paying ST - GTA service) for curent yr 2010-11 (as the return to be revised is FY 2009-10) and make return accordingly for this half yr accordingly?

oh...so must enquire at the commissionarate on this regard...u say its permitted under the act ? is there any such provision stated in the act? or is it a return filing practice methodology adopted?
You are going as per act, there is no possibility of filing revised return after 90 days.thats all.
some times, you need to get help from department only.
also, there is no spcefic provison for correct the return after 90 days

Dude,
Just wanted to confirm from u...I know due date exceeded. some how want the return be reached so since u told it can be adjusted with subsequent yr return/next return wanted to confirm how far its poss.
One my client filed the return on time but later it realised the some service tax payment has been ignored mistakenly, but the revised return time is over, even though ,we prepared the Revised return we try to submit, but the department reject the return without accepting, then we approch the Dy Commissioner directly for the solutions and explained the payment is missed, then we are asked to include the same liability and payment in next returns, this is the reason i told to approch directly to department
Some time, simply we are thinking ourselves regarding the Provision allowabilty, we can go directly ask the department people they give better solutions, becasue we are dealing one or two cases but they are in practically in that field and seeting lakhs of returns
great to hear u succeeded in filing the return. Already made basic enquiries here they told time over but told spk to the commissionarate ppl directly and see. ok will c what the max i can and i hape i get the same end as u were able to file the returns.
