my query is basically what CARO means?please if possible xplain me detail.

01 September 2011 Dear Author,

CARO means Companies (Auditors' Report) Order. These are the order issued by Central Government for the matters to be included by Statutory auditor, conducting audit under Companies Act, 1956, in his/her/their audit report. Hence, CARO in general parlance, means the details to be given by auditor on certain areas in his audit report.
