28 March 2012 Dear friends,
please brief about CMA,CPA & CIMA. which is better among these.
International Professional Financial Careers Academy Pvt. Ltd. (IPFC), is giving ICWAI free on clearing CMA.

is it possible.

please give the detail.

thanks
jagdish

28 March 2012 CMA stands for Certified Management Accountant. This course is conducted by Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), USA. The curriculum is focused more on management accounting, and similar to ICWA exams in India.
CPA stands for Certified Public Accountants the membership of which is granted by American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) USA. This course focuses more on Financial Reporting, accounting and taxation. The Indian counterpart is CA course.
CIMA stands for Chartered Institute of Management Accountant. This Courses also focuses more on Management Accounting aspect. However it goes into strategic things also. This course can be termed as a complete course for Management Accountants because it gives a blend of strategic thinking also.
CFA stands for Chartered Financial Analysts. This course is also highly recognised in financial sector.

To sum up, Apart from CMA, all the courses are widely recognised. I am working abroad and here also CIMA, Indian CAs, CPAs and CFAs are widely accepted, whereas CMAs have a limited acceptability.

Going to the 2nd part of your question, The Caching institute is not giving anything free, its the CMA institute, which has a mutual recognition agreement with ICWAI, entitles you to be a member of ICWAI institute. However, you will not be able to participate in Campus programs of ICWAI, or apply for any vacancy which requires ICWAI, specially in Govt Sector. If you have a ICWAI membership, by virtue of your CMA membership, your postion in the indian job market shall be limited to some MNCs.

you have given me full detail on the subject

right now i am working at Rwandwa East africa as a Finance controller. I have an experience of 15+ years in india and abroad.

I have completed MBA finance, Which course will be more beneficial for me to get a handsome job and package.

28 March 2012 Dear Sir,

Please tell me, the type of profile/industry you are working in?

If it is Costing and Management Accounting profile, yes CIMA will help you.
If you are in Financial Services sector, CFA is the best.
And if you are in Accounting and Reporting the CPA is the best.

In case you are considering CMA, better go for CIMA as it will take you to strategic level.

28 March 2012 agreed with expert........

thanks
