24 July 2012 WHAT WILL BE THE CLOSING STOCK IF OP STOCK 512703 SALE 8889273 PURCHASE 8228149 & gp is 25% WHAT WILL BE CLOSING STOCK please provide formula also for for above calculation

24 July 2012 Sale 8889273 @ 25 % GP. so the cost price of the sale swill be 75% of 8889273 = 6666954. Use the formula Closing stock = opening stock + purchase - sales at cost. =512703 + 8228149 - 6666954. (Please give me your answer CONSIDERING 40 % GP at amolshankar@gmail.com)

Then you can apply the following formula

C.O.G.S = Op. Stock + Purchases - Cl. Stock
