it varies. TISCO AGM was on July 2008 it closed in May Tata Motors AGM July 2008 it closed in June Generally after Board Meeting in which dividend if any is declared they close for the same. May be one can generalize that after 30 days to 45 days of BM. MAy be 60 days before AGM. This is all generalized. The Companies Act is not specific.
