one of my friend got compensation from Highway authority for Compulsory acquisition U/s 194LA Rs. 17,00,000/= and TDS Rs.1,70,000/=. Compensation it includes past five years interest. How can he get full refund please guide this sir.

You can not get full refund but part. You have take the value of property, indexed it, compute the capital gain and file return of income.
