As far as Gujarat VAT is concerned : Turnover before return of goods(either sales or purchase) should exceed Rs. 1 cr out of which at least Rs. 20 Lacs should be taxable (i.e. not tax free. case : sales turnover Rs. 1.78 cr (out of which Rs. 1.60 cr is tax free).Not liable for VAT audit.
