24 April 2009 pls. clarify whether reimbursement of professional membership taken by employee is taxable or not.

24 April 2009 If he gets any reimbursement then it should be taxable. there is no clear exemption to it.

Any reimbursement made by the employer to the employee which is employee's obligation, is taxable in the hands of the employee.
