Whats the difference between Childern Education Allowance Rs.100.00 per month & Childern Education Allowance Under Section 80C

Children education allowance is exempt upto Rs 100 /- per month per child upto maximum of two chidren.
Section 80C deals with deductions while computing the total Income. It does not mentions "Children Education allowance" any where in section.
As per section 80C, you will get dedcution for "Tuition Fee" paid to prescribed education institution subject to maximum og two children. You will be eligible for deduction on Tuition fee paid basis irrespective whether you are getting "Children education allowance or not.
