14 January 2011 It all depends upon Trust Deed.

If he has been appointed as Life Trustee; then he cannot be expelled from the Trust.

19 January 2011 The roles and responsibilities of a Trustee (including Life Trustee) are properly defined in the Trust Deed.

If they fail to fulfill their duties; they are personally liable to make good the losses born by the Trust.

Charity Commissioner can take action against them and he can debar him to remain as a Trustee.
