05 March 2008 ALL STATUTORY RETURNS FILED BY THE COMPANY WITH EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF THE NAME CHANGE APPROVAL BY ROC SHOULD ALSO SHOW THE NEW NAME AND IN BRACKETS
( FORMERLY .........LTD).
THE NAME BOARDS OF THE COMPANY AT ITS REGD. OFFICE, FACTORIES OR BRANCHES ,DEPOTS ETC..SHOULD ALSO SHOW THE NEW NAME AND IN BRACKETS
( FORMERLY .........LTD).

is it applicable for private limited cos. also??

05 March 2008 YES.APPLICABLE VERY MUCH TO ALL COMPANIES.
NOT ONLY WHAT IS SAID ABOVE.
BUT ALSO ALL STATUTORY LICENCES AND APPROVALS SHOULD GET ENDORSED WITH NEW NAME .
THE LETTER HEADS, BILL BOOKS AND INVOICES, GATE PASSES ETC.. SHOULD ALSO BE CHANGED .
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS LIKE B/S,P&L AND ALL SCHEDULES SHOULD CONTAIN NEW NAME AND IN BRACKETS ( FORMERLY......) FOR NEXT 6 YEARS.
