Change of Medium after getting exemption in one paper

28 February 2008 My friend "Anoop" has got exemption in Indirect Taxes in last exam.
Now he want to change his medium from hindi to english.
he also want to claim exemption in IDT.
Can he do so?
Please Reply at the earliest.
