I had few queries regarding change in partnership firm name:
1) Does change in name of CA firm have any affect on the number of years the firm has been in existence. Will seniority of the firm be affected for all purposes like empanelment etc?
2) Does change in name requires for change in Firm Reg No?

No....Change in name will not effect neither its existence nor its Reg No. will change.
