A service provider is providing services in personal name if he decides to open a proprietorship firm for providing services then should he apply for a new service tax no.or any amendment can be applied to the authorities in the existing service tax no.

SInc ethe ultimate owner will not change with the change in name of firm. Amendment in ST registration will suffice.
