14 August 2013 If a partnership firm is getting converted into a company, is there any procedure to continue with the same Service Tax and VAT Registration nos. or it has to cancel the old one and get a new registration nos.

14 August 2013 Need to obtain new registration number under both acts.surrender existing one

15 August 2013 The fresh registration is required when the business is transferred to other person. This is a case of change in constitution. Filing the application for change and getting the changes recorded in the certificates are sufficient.
