Many of the assessees are getting intimation saying that their returns can't be processed at cpc and hence they're sent back to their jurisdictional AO. In such circumstances, please guide if any actions need to be taken by us .

ok we can check our return status from that u can find our return is processed or not or demand/Refund nil or payable. If our return is transeferred to Jurisdictional AO then you can contact Jurisdiction AO for that.

CPC is sending the electronically transmitted data to the concerned jurisdictional assessing officer as per clause 8(iii) of Centralized Processing of Returns Scheme,2011 vide notification 2/2012 dated January 4,2012. But in the scheme referred above, in such cases what should be the course of action to be taken by the assessee is absent. Therefore, the assessee's has to wait for the communication from the jurisdictional assessing officer presuming that it is an internal affair between the sections of the department in which the assessee's has no role to play.
