we are in a pharma research labs where we develops the formulas we have registraion with central excise now we want to change the registration to technical know how what is the procedure to get altered registration can any one help me in this matter please this is urgent

Development Charges are not goods. Duty can not be demanded on development charges as such, as these are not excisable goods (Ashok Iron Works V. CCE (2004) 168 ELT 198 (CESTAT). Accordingly, it is not clear how you have taken Registration under C. Ex and what are the products name filled up under column no 14 in Form A-1. Thanks, S. Bnaerjee
