hi, i have received a vendor invoice for payment in which the vendor has charged Basic exscise duty, cess, education cess @ 2% and SHE Cess @ 1%. Just want to confirm if i can avail the credit for CESS paid. My company is a manufacturing company. Please advise.

Yes, of course. You can take cenvat benefit of cess and higher education cess not only on inputs but also on the service tax input cess if the same is in relation to manufacturing.
