09 May 2013 A Construction comapany paying service tax to the supplier and service provider on their payment whether this service tax is allowed as Cenvat Credit for payment of Service tax by the contractor to the government.

09 May 2013 service tax paid allowed as per cenvat credit rules 2(l)

but excise duty to supplier not allowed, as input not allowed, only credit of 'input services' ans 'capital goods' allowed.
