Dear Sir, I am working in Real Estate Company where we are Paying Excise duty in Purchase
Can we take Cenvat Credit in service tax payment,however we are not registered in Excise duty as we are not manufacturing company, but we are registered with service Tax.

Excise Duty Input Credit cannot be availed of to pay of output Service Tax Liability, whereas Service Tax Input Credit can be utilized to pay off Central Excise Liability.
