Hi,I would like to know that Material Purchased for Execution of Works Contract.In Purchase Bills supplier charged Excise Duty @12.36%.When we filed Service Tax Return Can we take cenvat credit, what I have Paid Excise duty on Purchases.Please Clarify.

Specific restriction on availment of input credits. Not eligible for works contract.
