Please clarify
Whether Service tax paid under reversed charged mechanism in Trasporation charges is available as cenvat for payment of Excise duty. please reply urgent

In my opinion service tax paid under reverse charge mechanism is available for credit to service receiver, reason behind this is logical under reverse charge only the liability for payment is transferred form provider to receiver thus cenvat credit is available to service receiver
