should we pay excise duty from zero sales if our product is a registered trade mark product

24 October 2011 CE duty is payable on removal of manufactured goods. If the same bears the brand name of ANOTHER, then no exemption is available unless one is located in a rural area.

If brand name is won, exemption upto 150 lakhs wouldbe available.
