Cash payment exceeding 20000

12 November 2014 If 90000 is paid to a hotel in cash for its 6 employees as boarding and lodging expenses for a conference.

hotel gives 6 bills each amounting to Rs. 15000.

Is it allowed??

12 November 2014 If payment is made in cash exceeding Rs.20,000 in single day (even though individual bill amount is below Rs.20,000) then it will not be allowed.
