i made an expenditure of 30000 as per details below
20000 on 01/01/09
10000 on 01/01/09
will this will be allowed?
would it make any difference i i had incurred this on 01/01/08

If you have spent on 1-1-09 the entire expenditure will be disallowed as per the ammeded section 40A(3) of it act as ammended by finance act 2008.
If you have spent on 1-1-08 then 20% of expenditure ie 6000 will be disallowed.
If you have spent on 1-1-08 then 20% of expenditure ie 6000 will be disallowed.
