Cash basis of accounting is compulsory or optional for Chartered Accountants. If compulsory then what is the treatment of TDS deducted.

system of accouting is OPTIONAL. TDS can be claimed in the year in which it is deducted.(Income may be credited in subsequent year as per the CASH system)
