25 July 2011 In DT some where it is written CIT VS ABC LTD and somewhere XYZ LTD VS CIT . Plz tell me how to write in exams. Is it ok if I m writing "In case law of ABC LTD or XYZ LTD"

25 July 2011 CIT is most of the time a party to the case of high courts and supreme court.

So you need not remember whose name comes first i. e. it doesnt matter you write CIT v/s abc or abc v/s CIT till the time name of ABC is correct.

25 July 2011 Thanx Aditya..............but also plz tell me -what if I m not giving name of case law........

25 July 2011 more weightage of marks would be given in case of correct case law quoted. It is like quoting sections in exams. So if u are confident of the same then quote it but do not quote wrong one.
